School Angel - A Fundraising Charity Platform
School Angel is a free community fundraising platform, which helps UK Schools raise funds to benefit their pupils.
A number of well-known businesses including Amazon, John Lewis, Sky, Travel Lodge and Boots have agreed to donate a portion of their profits to School Angel every time someone uses their online stores through the School Angel platform.
In other words, every time you purchase any product or service from any of the School Angel affiliated companies, they will donate to School Angel a portion of their profits which in turn they will pass on to us.
How does it work?
All you need to do is head to our official Brockmoor, School Angel charity page, there you will find a list of all of the companies supporting School Angel. By clicking on any of the business icons you will be taken to their official web-store using a unique URL which tells the business you wish to support School Angel and Brockmoor Primary School.
From there you can use their site as you normally would, but with the added bonus that for every product or service you purchase, the company will donate to us a portion of their profits. So as long as you remember to access your favourite online stores through our official school angel charity page, you will help us raise funds for our pupils.
What does it cost you?
The School Angel platform costs you nothing, nor does School Angel record any of your personal or financial information. All you need to do is use your favourite online stores as normal but with the added step of getting to it through our charity page. This is all you need to do.
Example of School Angel in use
If I wanted to buy a book from Amazon, normally I would go to the Amazon Web-Store, search for the book I wanted, add the book to my basket and finally pay for my purchase.
By using School Angel instead of going straight to Amazon I would first go to the Brockmoor School Angel Charity Page and click on the Amazon Icon located there. I would then be taken straight to the Amazon Web-Store, find the book I wanted, add it to my basket and pay for it as I normally would.
With just this extra step of our charity page, I can help the school raise funds for its pupils.
